FILIPINO FRIED RICE

Ingredients
  • 1 medium onion (diced)
  • 1 small cabbage (shredded)
  • 2 cloves garlic (chopped)
  • 3 carrots (slivered)
  • Leftover pork or beef roast (diced in bite size chinks)
  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • 1 cup frozen green peas (thawed)

  • In a large skillet, fry bacon until crisp. Remove, leaving 1 to 2 teaspoon of bacon grease.
  • Stir fry all vegetables until crisp or desired texture.
  • Add meat and crumbled bacon. Mix well.
  • Add steamed rice. Thoroughly mix, add soy sauce and peas and mix.
