STEWED PLUMS WITH SWEET GOATS' CHEESE CREAM
STEWED PLUMS WITH SWEET GOATS' CHEESE CREAM

Ingredients
  • 2 plums
  • stones removed
  • halved
  • ½ bottle red wine
  • 1 orange
  • juice and zest
  • 100g/3½oz caster sugar
  • 1 tsp mixed spice
  • 1 tsp cloves
  • 50g/1½oz goats' cheese
  • 50ml/2fl oz double cream
  • 50ml/2fl oz runny honey
Directions
  • For the stewed plums
  • place all of the ingredients into a saucepan
  • bring to the boil and simmer for 6-7 minutes
  • or until the plums are tender.
  • Remove the plums from the liquid using a slotted spoon and transfer to a bowl.
  • For the sweet goats' cheese cream
  • place all of the ingredients into a bowl and mix well to combine.
  • To serve
  • spoon some of the goats' cheese cream over the plums in the bowl.
