APPLE BLACKBERRY CRUNCH

Ingredients
- ½ cup chopped nuts
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- ½ cup margarine
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- ½ cup apple/pecan syrup
- ½ cup syrup
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 cups blackberry

- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease deep 1-quart or 9x13 baking dish. Peel, core and cut apples into ¼ inch slices. Layer in dish green/red/green/red.
- Mix syrup and lemon juice, pour evenly over apples. Combine granola, oats, nuts, brown sugar and cinnamon, cut in butter until resembles coarse crumbs.
- Combine sugar, flour and cinnamon, sprinkle ½ of mixture over apples. Spread evenly with blackberries, sprinkle remaining flour mixture over berries. Cover completely with granola mixture.
- Bake 40-45 minutes or until apples are tender when pierced with a knife. Serve warm with heavy cream or yogurt for breakfast or with ice cream or whipped cream for dessert.
