FRUIT COBBLER

Ingredients
- 5 tablespoon baking powder
- ¾ teaspoon salt (iodized)
- 4 cups milk (whole)
- 6 pounds frozen cherries (or blueberry, apple, peach)
- 3 cups sugar/white granulated
- 4 ½ tablespoon corn starch
- 3 tablespoon lemon juice (grated)
- ¼ teaspoon cloves ground
- ½ teaspoon nutmeg (ground)
- ¾ cup fruit juice
- 4 ½ oz butter (cut into bits)

- Directions
- Cream together the butter and sugar. Sift the flour, baking powder and salt.
- Add them alternately to the butter mixture with the milk until just combined.
- Spray pan with pam and spread evenly with dough, set aside.
- Combine the ingredients for the filling and spread over the top.
- Dot with the butter and bake at 350 for 30 to 45 minutes.
