HURUKU’S SALAD

Ingredients
  • Sesame seeds, garnish
  • For Japanese dressing -
  • 2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar or mirin
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon shoyu
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon wasabi (Japanese horseradish paste)
  • 1 clove garlic, crush

  • Put the cucumbers, shallots and bean sprouts in bowl. Combine dressing ingredients, pour over salad and toss well.
  • Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Garnish with sesame seeds before serving.
