ROASTED FIGS WITH BALSAMIC VINEGAR
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 fresh figs
- cut into four quarters
- 2 pieces ciabatta bread
- toasted
- 2 tbsp Greek yoghurt
- 1 tbsp clear honey
- ½ tsp fresh thyme leaves
Directions
- Place the vinegar and sugar in a small saucepan and cook at a medium heat until the sugar has dissolved.
- Add the fig pieces and cook until they are soft and caramelised.
- Place the griddled ciabatta bread on a plate and place the figs on top.
- To serve
- drizzle the yoghurt and the honey on top and scatter over the thyme leaves.
