SIMPLE SMOKED MACKEREL PâTé
Ingredients
- 2 smoked mackerel
- skinned and boned
- 125g/4oz cottage cheese
- 150g/5oz soured cream
- juice of half a lemon
- or more
- grated nutmeg
- black pepper and salt
- cayenne pepper
- 2 lemons cut into wedges
Directions
- Blend all the ingredients. Season to taste with pepper
- nutmeg and salt.
- Put into individual dishes or one large one. Cover with clingfilm and chill for two hours
- Sprinkle with a little cayenne and serve with lemon wedges.
