SIMPLE SMOKED MACKEREL PâTé
SIMPLE SMOKED MACKEREL PâTé

Ingredients
  • 2 smoked mackerel
  • skinned and boned
  • 125g/4oz cottage cheese
  • 150g/5oz soured cream
  • juice of half a lemon
  • or more
  • grated nutmeg
  • black pepper and salt
  • cayenne pepper
  • 2 lemons cut into wedges
Directions
  • Blend all the ingredients. Season to taste with pepper
  • nutmeg and salt.
  • Put into individual dishes or one large one. Cover with clingfilm and chill for two hours
  • Sprinkle with a little cayenne and serve with lemon wedges.
