SPICED MANGO WITH CHILLI, LEMON AND HONEY
Ingredients
- ½ mango
- flesh scored in a criss-cross pattern with a sharp knife
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 lime
- juice only
- pinch dried chilli flakes
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 200C/400F/Gas 6.
- Place the mango onto a baking sheet. Drizzle over the honey and lime juice and sprinkle over the dried chilli flakes and brown sugar. Place into the oven and bake for five minutes
- or until the sugar has melted and begun to caramelise.
- Remove from the oven and transfer to a warm plate to serve.
