STIR-FRIED SOY AND HONEY PORK WITH BROCCOLI, CHILLI, LEMON AND GOATS' CHEESE
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ½ onion
- finely sliced
- 2 cloves garlic
- finely chopped
- 200g/7oz pork tenderloin
- sliced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 lime
- zest and juice only
- large handful purple sprouting broccoli
- cut into florets
- 55g/2oz hard goats' cheese
- grated
- ½ lemon
- zest only
- ½ tsp dried chilli flakes
- salt and freshly ground black pepper
Directions
- For the soy and honey pork
- heat the olive oil in a frying pan and cook the onion for 2-3 minutes
- or until softened. Add the garlic and fry for one minute
- then add the pork and stir-fry until golden-brown all over.
- Drizzle over the soy sauce
- honey
- lime zest and juice and a splash of boiling water and cook for 1-2 minutes
- or until the pork is cooked through. Set aside.
- For the broccoli
- place the broccoli into a pan of boiling salted water and cook for 3-4 minutes
- or until tender. Drain well and stir into the pan with the pork
- then add the grated goats' cheese
- lemon zest
- and chilli flakes. Season to taste with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
- Pile the stir-fried pork and broccoli onto a serving plate and serve.
