THAI BEEF PATTIES

Ingredients
  • 175g/6oz rump steak
  • finely chopped
  • 1 garlic clove
  • ¼ tsp dried chilli flakes
  • ½ tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh coriander
  • ½ free-range egg
  • lightly beaten
  • sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 100g/3½ oz green beans
  • trimmed and thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp plain flour
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • fresh coriander to garnish
  • 1 tsp toasted sesame seeds
  • to garnish
Directions
  • Place the steak
  • garlic
  • chilli
  • sesame oil
  • coriander and egg into a food processor. Blend to combine the ingredients.Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  • Transfer into a bowl and stir through the green beans. Lightly flour your hands and form the meat mixture into four patties.
  • Heat the oil in a deep frying pan over a medium-high heat. Place the beef patties into the frying pan and fry for about three minutes on each side
  • until golden and cooked through.
  • To serve
  • place the patties on a bed of fresh coriander leaves and sprinkle over the toasted sesame seeds.
