PORK AND SESAME NOODLE SOUP
PORK AND SESAME NOODLE SOUP

Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 100g/3½oz pork tenderloin
  • cut into cubes
  • seasoned with salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 garlic clove
  • finely chopped
  • ½ green chilli
  • finely chopped
  • 300ml/½ pint hot chicken stock
  • 100g/3½oz rice noodles
  • ½ savoy cabbage
  • finely sliced
  • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
Directions
  • Heat the oil in a saucepan over a medium heat
  • add the seasoned pork and fry
  • stirring frequently
  • for 2-3 minutes
  • or until beginning to brown on all sides. Add the garlic and chilli and cook for a further 1-2 minutes.
  • Add the chicken stock
  • noodles and cabbage and bring to the boil. Boil until the noodles have softened and the pork is completely cooked through.
  • To serve
  • pour the soup into a bowl and drizzle with soy sauce and sesame oil.
