PURPLE SPROUTING BROCCOLI WITH ANCHOVY
PURPLE SPROUTING BROCCOLI WITH ANCHOVY

Ingredients
  • 450g/16oz purple sprouting broccoli
  • 5 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 whole garlic cloves
  • pinch dried chilli flakes
  • 6 anchovy fillets
  • chopped
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • ½ lemon
  • juice only
  • toasted ciabatta
  • to serve
Directions
  • Steam the broccoli for 5-6 minutes or until tender.
  • Meanwhile
  • heat the oil in a frying pan and add the garlic cloves. Fry the garlic until golden. Carefully remove the garlic and discard.
  • Add the chilli flakes and anchovies to the oil and cook until the anchovies break down. Season and add the lemon juice.
  • Serve the steamed broccoli with the dressing drizzled over
  • and a slice of toasted ciabatta each.
