SESAME STEAK WITH SPICY GREEN BEANS
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp oil
- 100g/3½oz green beans
- sliced
- ½ red pepper
- chopped
- ½ onion
- chopped
- 1 garlic clove
- chopped
- ¼ tsp chilli flakes
- 55g/2oz rump steak
- trimmed and cut into 5 thin strips
- 2 tbsp clear honey
- dash olive oil
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds
Directions
- For the spicy green beans
- heat the oil in a frying pan
- add the beans
- pepper and onion and fry for a few minutes until softened.
- Add the garlic and chilli flakes and fry for a further 3-4 minutes.
- For the sesame steak
- thread each steak strip onto a cocktail stick and drizzle over the honey.
- Heat a little oil in a non-stick frying pan and fry the steak over a high heat for 4-5 minutes
- or until cooked through and golden-brown.
- To serve
- sprinkle the steak with sesame seeds and place onto a serving plate with the spicy green beans.
